Tobacco Collectibles Open Auction

Whilst the majority of products are placed in my shop for sale at a fixed price, some of the rarer and more unusual items are sold on my auction platform. Individual lots are entered as they arrive, so there is a constant flow of auctions each running for 30 days and ending on different dates.

Anyone over the age of 18yrs who has a UK postal address can join in, just sign up and you are ready to go.

To participate you must create a free account on the auction platform (Air Auctioneer).

Then you must register to participate in the Tobacco Collectibles auction.

Users must be aged over 18 years and have a UK postal address.

Auctions are run in the standard English style - highest bidder wins.

Proxy Bidding is enabled in the auction account control panel. This means that you can set a maximum price that you are prepared to bid on an item. The system will then bid on your behalf in increments that are set for that lot up to your maximum figure. You will be informed if your maximum bid is surpassed by another bidder to give you the opportunity to increase your bid further, or let the item go.

Auction Charge - A10% buyers premium is added to the hammer price.

Delivery - Winning bidders will receive an invoice when the auction has ended, which must be paid within 3 days. Upon receipt of payment the goods will be mailed to the registered address using the Royal Mail Tracked 48 service. The charge for this service is £6.95.

There is no VAT payable.

Bidders must be aged 18yrs or more and have a UK postal address.
Bids in Sterling only.
Bids will only be accepted from registered bidders.
Each Auction lot will run for 30 days.
Lots will be sold to the highest bidder.
The closing date is displayed by the countdown timer shown for each lot.
If bids do not exceed the minimum price (where set), the lot will not be sold.
The results of each auction can be viewed in the Bidders control panel.
The Auctioneer has absolute discretion to withdraw lots, refuse bids, cancel an auction, or decide upon any other related issue.
Where listed items contain tobacco, the item is sold as a vintage collectible and is not for consumption.
Lots are not to be sold or supplied to any person aged under 18yrs.
All lots are sold as seen (as shown in photographs) and are non-returnable.
