Selling "Live" packets and tins

Since eBay, Etsy, Facebook and others banned the sale of any product containing tobacco on their platforms, it has become increasingly difficult for collectors of "Live" vintage tobacco products to find or to sell such products online.

As you know, unopened packets and tins used to command a premium price as they are much rarer than empty containers, but now collectors are having to sell full packets and tins as empty and in some cases actually destroying the contents before selling - sacrilege !

As a long time collector of "Live" packets I am saddened to see my hobby spoiled in this way by today's PC and WOKE culture, so I have decided to offer a solution for those wishing to buy & sell "Live" vintage cigarette, cigar or tobacco products that were produced prior to 1980.  I have now focused on "Live" products in my online shop and can offer the following choices.

Option One.

I will always consider buying from you myself either to add to my collection or to re-sell in order to support this web site.

Option Two.

Sell your live packets and tins in my monthly auction. It is free to add listings and you keep hold of the item until it sells. When it sells, you send it directly to the winning bidder and the proceeds (less fees) are sent to you after the buyer receives the item. See Auction Guide.

My website enjoys over 8,000 visitors per month, most of whom have an interest in collecting, so your products will be exposed to the right market. In addition, items added to my shop are featured on the Tobacco Collectibles Facebook page , and in my email mailing list, exposing your products to a further 4700 collectors Worldwide.

Option Three.

The final option is to let me sell your products for you in my online shop and/or auction. 

Under this arrangement you send your products to me, I will deal with marketing, promotion, order processing, postage and packing, insurance and any matters arising. The agreement is for a minimum period of 3 months at the end of which;

1) You receive payment for goods sold less my charges for service provided.

2) You can ask for unsold items to be returned to you.

3) The remaining items can be left on sale at an agreed reduced price.

4) I may purchase the remaining items from you at an agreed price.
